Certification Spotlight - Stacie Wood SHRM-CP

Stacie certainly did not follow a common path to Human Resources. She began with a music degree in vocal performance that led to 8 years in retail management getting to represent some incredible brands like Nike and Target.  She eventually landed in Learning and Development for Willamette Dental where she developed and led employee development initiatives and software training for 10 offices across Oregon. In early 2018, the opportunity arose to relocate to her husband’s hometown of Bend and they could not move fast enough!  She has since been Human Resources Manager for CS Construction.  Throughout this unusual path, there has been a common theme that fostering a great work environment is Stacie’s passion and true professional calling. Getting to support the industry that is literally building Bend is a fun bonus too.

When she is not taking care of her construction team, she is spending time with her husband, their two spunky daughters, and family dog.
